Spring Face

Spring Make Up, Spring Beauty Essentials

So Spring is actually here! I can't begin to describe how ready I was to change up my make up for the new season - for some reason, this winter felt especially long. I think it was partly because of the hectic term I've had at uni, I'd barely gone out shopping at all! Anyway, I'm so excited to share with you guys some beauty products I've been loving and wearing for Spring. :)

I've recently been more into lighter, more natural make up. I've dug up my YSL Le Teint Touche Éclat Foundation and have been using it with my Beauty Blender. I got to admit that I used to have a love-hate relationship with the Beauty Blender - I felt like for all the hype it was getting, mine didn't live up to it. But recently, I felt like I've had a breakthrough with my Beauty Blender. It blends my foundation and concealer seamlessly, giving such a flawless and natural look. I've just been loving my Beauty Blender so much! I feel like I absolutely can't live without it now.

Urban Decay Naked Skin Weightless Complete Coverage Concealer

I've also been trying out the Urban Decay Naked Skin Weightless Complete Coverage Concealer over the past few months - and can I just say that this is the best concealer ever?? I can't believe it took me so long to realise this! The concealer covers up my imperfections so well and blends into the skin like a dream. It's so creamy and moisturising, yet feels like nothing when applied onto the skin. I looove it so much - this concealer has definitely achieved Holy Grail status in my make up collection.

Dior Addict Lip Glow, Dior Lip Maximizer

I've also been loving some new lip products for Spring, including my Dior Addict Lip Glow. This is a color reviving balm that enhances your natural lip colour when applied. It gives off a natural glow to the lips and adds a nice feminine touch to the look. I love wearing this with my Dior Lip Maximizer, which helps to plump my lips and keep them hydrated.

What beauty products have you been loving for Spring?

  1. OH I need to try that dior lip maximizer. Love a good old beauty blender with liquid foundations. I might have to give the YSL foundation another go. Have you tried the relaunch of it or is this the one?

  4. I just got a beauty blender as well and I absolutely love mine! I opted for the Real Technique one since it's a fraction of the price, and it blends my foundation like a dream! Definitely can't do my make up without it.

    1. I've not properly tried the Real Techniques make up sponge, although I've heard that it's a great cheaper alternative for the Beauty Blender! I've been thinking about trying it out! x

  6. I'm definitely with you on toning down the coverage on my foundation and as my freckles have started to appear I chose much more of a lightweight one! I have heard such mixed things about the concealer but happy to hear that you enjoy it! xx
